Wherefore Art Thou?

I have been missing.  But I dug myself out of the wrapping paper mound, put it in the garage and shut the door.  I am still in a bit of a chocolate haze, but I think I may have run out.  Or at least I haven’t opened a new box.

This year should be interesting.  I will be building a house.  I am no longer fun at dinner parties because I ask people what their square footage is and why their roof is pitched at that precise angle.  I also find myself sneaking off and wandering uninvited with a tape measure to see what size the bedrooms are.

I don’t check medicine cabinets, though.  I saw on a TV show that you should put marbles in your cabinets so that if someone opens them, they get caught.  They said nothing about guests with tape measures.

And I am planning my crisis.  So far the only real plan I have besides Sundance is to find out what is worn under a kilt. (I may have received a couple Outlander books for Christmas.)

So I’m not sure what you may find here in 2012.  But I have a feeling building a home and having a crisis will be very tightly bound.

  1. Welcome back and good luck with the house!! What a project. You are a much better woman than I, taking on a whole darn HOUSE. I can barely get around to renovating a condo.

I’ve done a massive house Reno so if you’ve got questions then fire away. (I too used to be that person at a party that instead of commenting on the food, I’d mention the baseboards and how much I liked them).
Have fun with your crisis, someone should, don’t you think? 😉
