It’s Not Too Late To Enter

I’m still taking entries for the Average Mom contest. All you have to do is leave a comment as to why you’re just average and I’ll pick a random winner to get Harry and David Chocolate Covered Strawberries.
I know I usually post on Tuesday and Thursday but I saw the Good Morning America add for Breakfast in Bed with Emeril and I got ticked off on a Monday. It sometimes happens.
Look at Monday’s post for suggestions and Good Luck. (If you don’t win, you can do what I plan in doing and send some to yourself from a secret admirer.)

I’ll be choosing around 9 pm MST. Give or take my memory.

Here is a great example and first entry!!!

I consider myself an average mom because I am neither a slacker mom or an overachiever. My children have never participated in sports, but none are overweight. I order pizza once a week and cereal is a staple breakfast in our home. The house is clean but often cluttered. That’s my definition of average. 🙂

  2. This mom threatened that there would be no activity day’s if piano wasn’t practiced. Fifteen minutes and two notes later, the ride showed up and guess who went to activity days. I decided I would rather let her go then fight for the next hour to get it done! Juice boxes are big prizes to go to the daycare at the gym, and the only way I get my kids to wear jeans (instead of athletic pants) is by not staying caught up on the laundry.

  3. I let my youngest wear his new Transformers t-shirt 3 days in a row last week. I just wasn’t in the mood for one of his melt downs. He also still wears his favorite Thomas the Tank Engine pajamas that are 2 sizes too small because I know if they disappeared all hell would break loose.
